Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Healing Escape, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of critical functions, including but not limited to:

• Conducting detailed preliminary interviews, documenting each client’s journey from the initial consultation to their treatment's completion.
\n
• Evaluating clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health through structured assessments and diagnostic tools.
\n
• Developing personalized intervention and recovery plans, tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, integrating best practices in mental health care.
\n
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic modalities to engage clients effectively.
\n
• Monitoring client progress and responding with adjustments to treatment protocols as necessary, enhancing recovery outcomes.
\n
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including other mental health professionals, physicians, and social workers, to formulate comprehensive intervention plans.
\n
• Following up with psychiatrists and attending physicians as needed for clients who may require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identifying potential barriers to recovery, such as maladaptive behaviors or unresolved emotional issues, and strategizing interventions to address these challenges.

• Supporting family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental and behavioral health challenges their loved ones face.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will include a diverse array of individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. You will cater to clients from all walks of life, offering culturally competent care that respects their unique backgrounds and experiences. Your role will be pivotal in helping them navigate their mental health journeys through personalized and compassionate support.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• A pass score in nationally recognized examinations, including the NCE and/or the NCMHCE.
\n
• Proficient understanding of telehealth practices and experiences with electronic health record (EHR) systems, such as AVATAR.

Preferred Experience\n
