Work Environment\n

This role is a remote position, offering flexibility while maintaining high standards of clinical care. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential for scheduling adjustments to accommodate the needs of your patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique trauma history and tailor appropriate treatment interventions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans emphasizing trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to process their trauma experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for every patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate assistance and developing safety plans as necessary.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, fostering a deeper understanding of their experiences and the healing process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in adherence to legal, ethical, and HIPAA regulations while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to provide the most effective treatment to your patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with trauma survivors, including adults and adolescents who present with various mental health challenges, such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and related disorders. Your therapeutic interventions will specifically address the intricacies of trauma experiences and focus on building resilience and coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building strategies.

• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to create a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health treatment, particularly focused on trauma recovery.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
