This position offers the unique advantage of working remotely, allowing you to manage your schedule while remaining fully engaged with our outpatient office goals. Our team operates primarily Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments aimed at evaluating patient trauma histories and determining tailored treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery, ensuring they are reflective of the patient’s unique experiences and needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions and activities that help patients process trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care for each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention and support, especially during trauma-related emergencies, guiding patients through difficult times with an informed approach.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, ensuring they have knowledge of available resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in alignment with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clients for this role will be individuals coping with trauma, including children, adolescents, and adults dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Our therapists play a crucial role in supporting these vulnerable populations to navigate their recovery journeys successfully in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

• Possession of at least 2 years of post-licensure experience in clinical mental health counseling is strongly preferred.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and various trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, underpinned by an empathetic and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations, providing a stable presence for clients in crisis.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant healthcare technology.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of practical experience in trauma therapy is preferred. Familiarity with a broad spectrum of therapeutic tools, effective intervention strategies, and resources available for trauma survivors is highly advantageous. Experience practicing in outpatient settings is also welcomed.

Compensation and Benefits\n
