Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and identifying appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during both individual and group therapy sessions, tailored to the specific needs of clients.

• Facilitate support and therapeutic groups designed for patients to process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and foster a sense of community.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for patients accessing our services.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, guiding patients through acute episodes with compassion and professionalism.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, enabling informed decision-making.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all records reflect clients' needs and progress accurately.

• Engage in team discussions and case consultations to enhance treatment approaches and outcomes.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in trauma therapy, integrating new research findings into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will predominantly work with individuals impacted by various trauma-related disorders, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will be vital in guiding patients through their recovery journeys and enhancing their resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly with trauma-related disorders.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-informed approaches and familiarity with EMDR and TF-CBT techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards clients.

• Ability to manage stressful situations with poise and reliability.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing EHR systems and other computer applications for documentation and communication.

• A collaborative spirit, eager to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience.
