Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and to identify tailored treatment methodologies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address specific patient needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating safe spaces for patients to process their trauma and learn effective coping strategies.

• Engage in active collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available mental health resources in order to empower them in their healing journeys.

• Ensure meticulous documentation is kept in alignment with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals impacted by various forms of trauma, specializing in those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, emphasizing trauma-related disorders.

• Solid understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building approaches.

• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
