Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on trauma healing, coping strategies, and resilience enhancement.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to process their experiences and engage in supportive peer interactions.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and fellow clinicians to coordinate comprehensive treatment options for clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, employing appropriate therapeutic techniques to ensure safety and support.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available resources for continued support and healing.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate in team consultations and professional development activities to stay current on best practices in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and complex PTSD. Our patient population includes diverse backgrounds and identities, with a strong emphasis on serving LGBTQ+ individuals. You will play a vital role in providing a safe space for clients to share their stories and find strength through healing.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctorate degree in a relevant field, such as social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist.
\n
• A profound understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed therapy approaches.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach.

• Capacity to manage high-stress situations with a calming demeanor, offering reassurance to clients in distress.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and various computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative spirit, fostering a conducive environment for teamwork with multidisciplinary colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic services is preferred, although new graduates are welcome to apply.

• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of the specific challenges faced by LGBTQ+ clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience.
