This full-time position, based in Aurora, Colorado, requires a professional who can provide specialized mental health care for individuals impacted by trauma. Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, affording flexibility while still being integrated with a supportive outpatient office environment. As a member of our team, you will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some opportunities for flexibility depending on patient needs. Communication and collaboration with your colleagues will be crucial in ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive, integrated care.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' mental health histories and specific trauma experiences.

• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and resilience in trauma-affected individuals.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective healing processes.

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions, providing patients with coping strategies and tools for processing their trauma.
\n
• Working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and support for our patients.

• Responding to crises and providing essential support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating your calm and composed demeanor.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and guiding them toward additional available resources.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards pertinent to mental health care.

• Participating in case consultations and team meetings to further develop your skills and align care strategies across the multidisciplinary team.

• Staying abreast of the latest research in trauma therapy to continually enhance the service we offer our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients who have experienced significant trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. Your role will be vital in helping these individuals rebuild their lives, regain trust in themselves and others, and cultivate lasting healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

We seek a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly with trauma-related populations.
\n
• A robust understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, allowing for a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

• The ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress scenarios.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in modern digital applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
