Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the unique trauma histories of patients, guiding the development of tailored treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize resilience and recovery, utilizing evidence-based frameworks.

• Deliver impactful therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to help patients process trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on coping strategy development and healing pathways for trauma survivors.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.

• Respond to crisis situations with timely interventions, providing support tailored to trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources, enhancing their understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in adherence with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record systems effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Holding a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, alongside a nurturing and empathetic approach to client interactions.

• Capability to maintain composure during high-stress scenarios, ensuring patient safety and support.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and other requisite computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
