Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments for patients, assessing their trauma history to inform individualized treatment plans.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focused on healing, resilience-building, and recovery from trauma.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment where patients can articulate their experiences, develop coping strategies, and engage in the healing process.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care is provided to patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and supported.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms to build resilience and enhance understanding.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards to safeguard patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The successful applicant will primarily work with patients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to emotional, physical, and psychological trauma. We focus on creating a safe space for patients to heal from their experiences while utilizing evidence-based practices that promote recovery and stability. By understanding each patient's unique background and needs, our therapists can tailor their approach and interventions effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensing as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders, including effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
