This role is primarily remote, allowing you to deliver services from the comfort of your home while still engaging with a dynamic team of mental health professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial interviews with clients, documenting their mental, emotional, and behavioral health history to inform treatment.

• Evaluate clients continuously throughout their treatment journey, adjusting therapy plans as necessary based on their progress and feedback.
\n
• Develop bespoke intervention and recovery plans for diverse populations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques and modalities tailored to the needs of each participant.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure holistic care for clients.
\n
• Monitor client progress meticulously, addressing any barriers to recovery and adapting strategies to promote positive outcomes.

• Assist families and caregivers in understanding and managing challenges associated with mental health conditions, providing them with necessary resources and strategies.

• Follow up with healthcare providers regarding any clients who have been hospitalized to coordinate ongoing care and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will significantly impact various client demographics, focusing on those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other emotional and behavioral challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of individuals from the El Paso community and beyond, helping them navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas is essential.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE).
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are imperative for effective client interaction and record-keeping.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for tracking client progress and managing case notes.

• Previous work involving individuals with co-occurring disorders and an understanding of addiction and its implications on mental health.

• Knowledge of the best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• In-depth familiarity with psychopharmacological agents and their effects as prescribed by healthcare providers.

Compensation and Benefits\n
