Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility in your work schedule while still supporting our clients effectively. While our practice operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility will be required to accommodate patient needs and ensure continuous care. As part of a telehealth team, you will engage with clients using secure electronic platforms, ensuring their privacy and comfort during each session.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each client's history and identify appropriate treatment strategies tailored to their unique experiences.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, incorporating evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, applying calming techniques and immediate coping strategies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, fostering a supportive environment for healing both in and out of therapy sessions.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, actively contributing to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay updated with the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy, ensuring our practice adheres to best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with a diverse clientele who have experienced trauma of various forms. This includes individuals with PTSD, complex trauma backgrounds, and dissociative disorders, as well as those in need of specialized coping strategies. Your role will be critical in helping these clients navigate their challenges, thereby significantly improving their quality of life and mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is required.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience providing therapy, particularly with trauma survivors.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client interactions.

• The capability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure scenarios.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and relevant computer applications.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
