• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand the needs of children and adolescents, employing clinical interviewing techniques and standardized assessment tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that recognize developmental milestones and family dynamics, adjusting approaches as necessary to best support each patient's journey.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and other modalities that effectively address mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers to foster a supportive environment at home.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists, school counselors, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care and share insights on patient progress.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies for children and adolescents, employing de-escalation techniques and crisis management strategies.
\n
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and local community resources, helping them navigate available support systems.
\n
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
\n
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development initiatives to remain informed of advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

The ideal candidate will focus on a diverse population of children and adolescents, typically ranging from ages 5 to 18, presenting with various mental health concerns. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that these young individuals receive appropriate care and interventions based on their personal experiences and mental health backgrounds. You will be instrumental in empowering them to overcome obstacles aligned with their mental development.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is required.

• Proven understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and child-centered approach to care.
\n
• Ability to establish rapport with children, adolescents, and their families, promoting trust and open communication.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a variety of computer applications necessary for documentation and communication.

• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Experience in delivering individual and family therapy specifically within a child and adolescent population.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions tailored for younger client demographics.

• A comprehensive understanding of the developmental stages of children and adolescents, including their psychological needs.
