Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine effective treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address diverse trauma responses.

• Engage in both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Collaborate extensively with psychiatrists and other health care professionals to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calmness under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources, ensuring they are equipped for their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation as per legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of learning and professional development focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, integrating new knowledge into therapeutic practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in trauma-informed practices and therapies.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities focused on healing and resilience.

Compensation and Benefits\n
