Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history and mental health needs.

• Developing and executing individualized treatment plans focused on facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing patients' coping skills.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapted to each client's needs.

• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma experiences and fostering a healing community.
\n
• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention to patients during their critical moments related to trauma.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, providing vital resources aligned with their treatment plans.

• Ensuring accurate and confidential documentation of patient records in compliance with legal and ethical requirements.

• Participating in continuous education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will be serving consist primarily of trauma survivors ranging from adolescents to adults. They may present with a variety of trauma-related concerns, including PTSD, complex trauma histories, and associated mental health challenges. Your role will focus on fostering a therapeutic alliance where patients feel safe to explore their experiences and work towards healing.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focused on trauma therapy or mental health treatment.
\n
• Thorough knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and general computer applications for maintaining patient records and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
