The Outlet Youth & Family Support Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed mental health therapist to join our compassionate team on a full-time basis. This remote position focuses on providing professional mental health care, particularly for individuals navigating challenges related to trauma.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and needs, determining the most appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and empowerment.
\n
• Utilize proven therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in their healing journey.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process traumatic experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies related to trauma, ensuring immediate assistance for those in need.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources for additional support.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities targeted at trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our organization is to support individuals affected by trauma, including children, adolescents, and families. Together, we address the unique needs of those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, providing a nurturing environment where healing can flourish.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and methods for resilience-building.

• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client care.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ensuring a supportive environment for clients.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications relevant to mental health practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field, preferably in trauma-focused settings.

• Experience facilitating group therapy sessions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams is desired.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
