Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and identify their unique needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience, and long-term well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients in their healing journeys.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, discover coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, ensuring they feel supported and informed.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing trauma and trauma-related disorders. Our patient population includes survivors of various backgrounds, including those who have experienced significant life events such as abuse, loss, or severe anxiety disorders. Understanding and addressing their complex needs is essential in guiding them towards recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to treatment.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to documentation and data management.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
