Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to actively explore each patient's trauma history and inform tailored treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies focused on fostering recovery, resilience, and adaptive coping mechanisms.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Provide guidance and support during crises, ensuring timely intervention that addresses trauma-related emergencies effectively.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other mental health professionals to optimize integrated care approaches for patients.

• Engage patients and their families with education about trauma responses, fostering understanding and empowerment through available resources.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment approaches while adhering to ethical standards and legal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients dealing with trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By offering compassionate care, you will assist patients in processing their trauma and developing coping strategies that promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is a fundamental requirement.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Pennsylvania.

• Comprehensive understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment methods.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling you to connect with patients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
