Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ history of substance abuse and related mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction issues and underlying psychological factors.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Coordinate care with other team members to ensure a holistic approach to client treatment, providing insights and updates to enhance collaborative efforts.

• Provide education and support to clients’ families, encouraging their involvement in the recovery process to create a supportive home environment.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring that sensitive information is handled with the utmost confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist in this role will work primarily with individuals grappling with substance use disorders, ranging from those in the early stages of recovery to those in need of ongoing support. You will engage with a diverse clientele that may also face co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. Your counseling efforts will be instrumental in helping them establish and maintain meaningful, substance-free lives.

Qualifications\n

• Valid active license as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (PsyD).

• Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Proven competency in addiction counseling, with training or specialized certifications reflecting knowledge of substance abuse treatment protocols.

• Exceptional communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to motivate and inspire clients toward change.

Compensation and Benefits\n
