Our typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening hours as needed to accommodate client schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the needs of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders, ensuring the establishment of meaningful therapeutic goals.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailoring approaches according to individual client needs.

• Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy, while fostering a safe and non-judgmental space for clients.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing interpersonal skills and providing peer support among participants on common recovery journeys.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and related professionals to ensure integrated care delivery that addresses all aspects of the client's well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention services during substance-related emergencies, demonstrating quick thinking and a compassionate approach to urgent situations.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction issues, recovery processes, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent in the state of New Jersey.

• Thorough knowledge of substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy within the realm of addiction treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by empathy and a non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency in maintaining professional boundaries and adherence to ethical guidelines.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and general computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Applicants with at least two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, specifically focused on addiction recovery, will be given preference. Experience in facilitating groups and knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches are also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, complemented by a potential sign-on bonus.
