Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to create personalized treatment plans for clients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions, ensuring each session is tailored to meet the specific needs of the client.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care and support.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, keeping up-to-date records of client interactions and treatment progress.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest mental health trends and research.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Active and unrestricted licensing as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical or community health setting.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and comfort using technology to facilitate remote services.

• Demonstrated understanding of ethical and legal standards in counseling.
