Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients’ mental health needs through virtual consultations.

• Develop and implement tailored psychotherapeutic plans addressing each client's unique challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and substance abuse disorders.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions with clients, providing them with coping strategies and therapeutic techniques to overcome their mental health issues.
\n
• Create and maintain detailed and confidential records of client progress using electronic health record (EHR) systems to meet compliance standards.
\n
• Coordinate care by connecting clients with additional healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or community resources, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities, including participating in supervision and peer-support sessions, to remain current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Great Lakes Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds. Our patient population includes individuals who are dealing with mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance abuse. A significant aspect of your role will be to apply culturally responsive techniques to address the unique needs and backgrounds of each client, ensuring an inclusive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience providing individual and group therapy.
\n
• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain ethical standards, professional boundaries, and confidentiality in patient interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
