Key Responsibilities\n

As our Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and the unique needs of each patient.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma, developing effective coping mechanisms, and fostering healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multi-disciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and integrated care for all patients.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and resilience.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities that prioritize trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with trauma survivors who may experience a wide range of psychological and emotional challenges. Understanding their unique perspectives and experiences will aid in building rapport and facilitating the healing process. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, along with proficiency in trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to apply trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential for fostering a supportive therapeutic alliance.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in handling relevant technology.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development is highly valued. Experience in outpatient clinical settings focusing on trauma recovery will further strengthen the candidate’s suitability for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
