Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth trauma-informed assessments to gather insights on patients' trauma histories and recommend appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop tailored treatment plans targeting trauma recovery while promoting resilience and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions that encourage sharing and processing of trauma experiences among peers, fostering community and healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety for our clients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, fostering transparency and accountability.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings and seek continuous professional development focused on trauma-informed practices and related research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced various types of trauma, including survivors of abuse, veterans coping with PTSD, and those with dissociative disorders. Each client presents a unique set of challenges and pathways to healing, and your ability to deliver personalized, empathetic care will be integral to their recovery journey. As you work with this population, you’ll leverage your expertise to create safe spaces where clients feel understood and supported.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated competence in trauma-informed care practices, with a theoretical understanding of trauma-related disorders and their impact on mental health.

• Proficiency in relevant electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure seamless patient management and documentation.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, complemented by a non-judgmental, supportive approach towards clients.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting working directly with trauma survivors is preferred. Familiarity with trauma-focused therapeutic modalities and hands-on experience in delivering effective treatment plans will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Your ability to remain composed in high-stress situations and experience with crisis intervention will contribute significantly to client outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
