This position offers a remote work setting, allowing our counseling staff to provide valuable services while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The regular workweek is from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured schedule that enables counselors to maintain consistency in patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to understand the mental health needs and history of trauma patients.

• Listen empathetically to patients’ concerns, facilitating a safe space for them to express their emotions.

• Diagnose mental and emotional disorders using established criteria, tailoring treatment plans unique to each individual.

• Develop and implement effective coping strategies and therapeutic interventions that patients can adopt as part of their recovery journey.

• Monitor patient progress regularly, adapting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Educate both patients and their families on trauma recovery resources, stress management, and coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, and community programs to ensure comprehensive support for patients.

• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education courses to maintain LMHC licensure and enhance counseling skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on trauma injury patients who seek support for a range of issues, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other emotional disturbances resulting from traumatic experiences. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding these individuals through their healing process, empowering them to build resilience and regain control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience working with trauma patients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their unique needs.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, with experience in Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
