Allure Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist to enhance our multidisciplinary team. This full-time position allows you to work remotely while addressing the mental health needs of individuals grappling with trauma-related challenges, thereby fostering resilience and recovery in those who need it most.

Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, enabling you to work in a comfortable and flexible setting while maintaining direct communication with clients and colleagues via our secure electronic health record (EHR) system and video conferencing tools. The daily schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and develop tailored treatment plans that focus on recovery and resilience.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients effectively.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and promote emotional and psychological healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrative approach to patient care, enhancing overall treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, employing a composed and strategic response to ensure client safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower their participation in the healing process.

• Maintain thorough and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our EHR systems to ensure seamless information sharing and accuracy.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that encourages sharing experiences and insights regarding trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with the latest research and developments in trauma therapy to continuously refine your practice and improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults who have experienced various forms of trauma, which may include interpersonal violence, natural disasters, or childhood neglect. Your role is crucial in guiding clients through their recovery journey, empowering them to understand and manage their emotional responses as they learn to cope with their past experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred, with a strong background in trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.

• Strong aptitude for maintaining composure in high-stress situations, ensuring clients feel secure and supported.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications for maintaining accurate documentation and managing patient care efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
