Work Environment\n

This position provides the flexibility of a remote work setting that encourages work-life balance. While standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening and weekend hours may be required on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate symptoms related to mood disorders in clients, determining the severity, frequency, and duration of these symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that consider their specific needs, goals, and preferences, fostering a sense of ownership in their care.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive client outcomes.

• Continuously monitor and assess client progress throughout the treatment process, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and treatment developments in mood disorders to enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of client interactions in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to major depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. The therapist will work with individuals from varied backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of culturally competent care tailored to each client's unique context.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A proven track record of at least two years of post-licensure experience, specifically in working with mood disorders.
\n
• Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, is essential for success in this role.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the capacity to collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• Exceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders is required, candidates with a wealth of knowledge in advanced therapeutic modalities and successful treatment outcomes will be prioritized. Experience in a community health setting is preferred, enabling familiarity with the unique challenges faced by diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus as an incentive for joining our dedicated team.
