Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, focusing on mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions.

• Work collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and treatment goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modern practices designed to enhance mental health and resilience.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, therapeutic options, and practical self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor clients’ progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring responsive care that evolves with the individual’s needs.

• Collaborate with a team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses both mental health and any accompanying medical concerns.

• Stay informed on recent developments in mood disorder research, incorporating best practices into therapeutic methodologies.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment modalities in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in professional development activities, including team meetings and case consultations, to enhance clinical skills and share insights with other mental health professionals.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting the de-stigmatization of mental health issues and raising awareness regarding available support resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on individuals affected by mood disorders, including those dealing with depressive episodes, anxiety disorders, and emotional dysregulation. Our diverse client population includes adults from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, allowing you to apply adaptable therapeutic skills and approaches to effectively address varied client concerns.

Qualifications\n

• A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• A valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.

• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches for mood disorders.

• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
