The therapy sessions will primarily be conducted in a remote setting, allowing flexibility while maintaining quality care. Home office equipment and resources will be provided to ensure optimal productivity and engagement.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments to comprehensively evaluate patients’ trauma histories and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans targeting post-traumatic growth and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic tools, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting patients in processing trauma and developing effective coping techniques.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and emotional stability.

• Collaborate with team members in the ongoing evaluation and adjustment of treatment plans to support patient progress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, resilience strategies, and external resources available for additional support.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical professional standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions to ensure adherence to best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Stay current on developments in trauma therapy, incorporating new research findings into treatment approaches.

This position focuses on working with individuals who have experienced significant trauma and related disorders. Our clinic serves diverse populations, including children, adults, and families, each with varying trauma histories. A thorough understanding of trauma-related issues and sensitivity to cultural differences is essential for providing effective therapeutic support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-focused interventions and their application in clinical practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by empathy, active listening, and a non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with teletherapy technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
