Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized mindfulness-based intervention plans tailored to clients’ specific challenges, including stress reduction and emotional regulation.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients’ needs, stressors, and therapeutic goals, ensuring careful alignment with evidence-based practices.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, breathing techniques, and meditation practices designed to enhance self-awareness and emotional balance, significantly contributing to improved mental health outcomes.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes aimed at imparting mindfulness practices, stress management tools, and resilience-building strategies to increase therapeutic effectiveness.

• Integrate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions to address unique psychological issues and support clients’ ongoing personal development.

• Maintain thorough records of client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population seeking support for a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and more. Emphasizing mindfulness allows therapists to assist clients in cultivating a deeper awareness of their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your mission will be to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their challenges and develop effective coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
