Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions such as MBSR to clients needing assistance with stress management, enhancing relaxation, and overall well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify client stressors, challenges, and individual goals, allowing you to tailor mindfulness practices effectively.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques designed to bolster self-awareness, manage stress, and establish emotional balance in everyday life.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes that focus on mindfulness, stress management strategies, and resilience-building techniques.

• Incorporate mindfulness practices into personalized therapy sessions aimed at addressing specific mental health concerns and supporting overall growth.

• Collaborate closely with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to create a cohesive therapeutic approach that integrates mindfulness into client care plans.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions, ensuring transparency and adherence to ethical standards.

• Engage in personal mindfulness practice and continuous professional development to enhance your expertise in MBSR and related methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population comprises individuals seeking to address a variety of mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to stress management and personal growth. You will work with diverse clients, including adults and adolescents, each looking for support in cultivating mindfulness as a means of coping with life’s challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness methods into therapeutic interventions.

• Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to create a calm, supportive, and therapeutic environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
