Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health, identifying individual needs and establishing therapeutic relationships.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that promote clients’ progress, making necessary adjustments based on evaluations and feedback.

• Document in detail patient medical and psychological histories, along with progress notes, treatment plans, and evaluation outcomes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Educate clients about their condition and treatment options, empowering them to make informed choices about their mental health care.

• Provide crisis intervention support, employing specialized knowledge in areas such as substance abuse, trauma, domestic violence, and child maltreatment.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and community-based services, to facilitate comprehensive care for clients.

• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field of telehealth and mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Evergreen Mental Health Solutions, you will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your work will focus on individuals facing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and family dynamics. You will support clients from various backgrounds, understanding their unique experiences and challenges to provide culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of Oregon.

• Demonstrated experience in providing effective mental health counseling to clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in telehealth or virtual counseling modalities.

• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes for holistic client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
