Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations and continuous assessments of clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health through telehealth methods.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual client needs, goals, and clinical assessments.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to foster meaningful conversations and therapeutic growth.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to enhance recovery outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Provide ongoing support and communication with family members to help them understand and assist loved ones facing mental health challenges.

• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and organizational protocols.

• Assist in resource management, including referring clients to appropriate community services and managing care transitions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families grappling with a range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

• A strong foundation in mental health counseling principles, demonstrated through prior experience in a clinical setting.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms, to maintain client documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients facing a variety of physical health conditions, emotional disturbances, and substance use disorders is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and knowledge of medication management and its effects.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and colleagues.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong capacity for empathy and a genuine desire to support clients through their mental health journeys.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this full-time role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
