Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of clients to identify their unique stressors and therapeutic goals, ensuring interventions are customized to their specific needs.

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including guided meditation sessions and breathing exercises, to promote emotional regulation and self-awareness.

• Facilitate group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness practices, resilience, and stress management, fostering a supportive community for participants.

• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions to address mental health concerns and enhance clients’ coping skills.

• Regularly collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate mindfulness practices into holistic treatment plans, improving client outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous records of client progress, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions to ensure coordination of care and compliance with best practices.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and personal mindfulness practice to continuously enhance your expertise in MBSR and other therapeutic modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve clients seeking support to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. You will engage with a diverse population, adapting your approaches to meet the varied needs of individuals from different backgrounds and circumstances. Your expertise in mindfulness will be crucial in helping clients cultivate resilience and develop effective strategies for managing their mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
