The role is structured around a standard Monday to Friday work schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to help clients manage stress, enhance their emotional well-being, and develop effective coping strategies tailored to individual needs.

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health challenges, stressors, and personal goals, utilizing this information to personalize mindfulness practices and therapeutic approaches.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques aimed at promoting self-awareness, emotional regulation, and a balanced mental state.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops that inspire and educate clients about mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and building resilience within their daily lives.

• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns to support clients’ journeys toward recovery and personal development.

• Work collaboratively with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to create a comprehensive treatment plan that optimizes client outcomes and integrates mindfulness effectively into therapy.

• Maintain thorough documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions to ensure consistency and continuity of care.

• Participate in regular personal mindfulness practice and professional development opportunities to deepen your expertise in mindfulness interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele of adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and emotional regulation issues. The ideal therapist will be adept at creating a welcoming, non-judgmental therapeutic space conducive to personal growth and healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness strategies into therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
