Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based therapeutic interventions, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in achieving stress relief and emotional equilibrium.

• Perform initial assessments to identify clients' stressors, motivational drivers, and therapeutic goals, customizing mindfulness techniques to meet their individual needs.

• Lead guided mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques designed to enhance self-awareness, promote relaxation, and build resilience.

• Organize and facilitate group workshops focusing on mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and techniques for building emotional resilience.

• Integrate mindfulness strategies into individualized therapy sessions targeting specific mental health challenges, actively contributing to clients' overall progress and well-being.

• Collaborate with colleagues and allied health professionals to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach that weaves mindfulness throughout patients’ care plans.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions to track client outcomes and progress accurately.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Experience with mindfulness-based approaches is preferred, although we are open to candidates willing to undergo training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

• A demonstrated ability to effectively integrate mindfulness into therapy sessions, with strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary to create a calming and supportive environment.
