Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that consider the unique developmental stages and family dynamics of each client.

• Engage in educational outreach to help patients and families understand mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards while using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.

• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately determine the needs of children and adolescents seeking assistance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, attention deficits, and behavioral issues. Your compassionate approach will be essential in building rapport and trust with young clients, allowing them to express their thoughts and feelings in a safe space. Supporting families through this process is equally crucial, as you will equip them with tools and insights to foster healthier environments for their children.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of California is essential. Please note that we are unable to accept associate-level licensed candidates at this time due to billing requirements.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proven experience providing individual and family therapy services to young clients.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a child-centered approach to therapy.

• Adeptness in using EHR systems and various computer applications to manage patient care efficiently.

• Capability to work harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
