Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, leveraging telehealth technology to reach clients in Visalia, California, and beyond. Our dedicated team works collaboratively to ensure that clients receive integrated and coordinated care from the comfort of their homes. While our primary working hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, some evening shifts may be necessary to accommodate patients' schedules, ensuring accessibility and supportive engagement.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the individual needs and aspirations of clients seeking help for substance use disorders.

• Develop personalized treatment plans employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions aimed at fostering self-awareness, goal setting, and skill development for long-term recovery.
\n
• Lead engaging group therapy sessions that foster community support among clients, encouraging an atmosphere of shared experiences and motivation.
\n
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to provide comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, specially tailored to address acute substance-related situations that may arise.
\n
• Empower clients and their families through education on addiction dynamics, effective recovery strategies, and community resource navigation.

• Keep accurate and confidential documentation of sessions and treatment progress to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in regular team meetings and professional development to continuously improve service delivery and clinical skills.

• Continuously update knowledge of the latest research and treatment innovations in substance use recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing substance use challenges, with many encountering co-occurring mental health issues. Our clientele spans various demographics, including adolescents, adults, and families, all navigating the complexities of recovery. Your empathetic approach and professional expertise will be instrumental in creating tailored treatment pathways that promote healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Deep understanding of substance use disorders and a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment practices.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering therapy within a substance use treatment framework both individually and in group settings.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a non-judgmental and empathetic approach.

• A steadfast ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and patient confidentiality.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficient in general computer applications.

• Prior experience in a telehealth environment is highly desirable, particularly in managing remote patient engagement effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The expected salary range for this position is between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
