Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual clients, specifically aimed at addressing acute and chronic mental health conditions.

• Conduct ongoing assessments and engage in regular case reviews to adapt therapeutic strategies as necessary.

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions via telehealth platforms to meet the varying needs of your clients.

• Document client interactions effectively, including intake summaries, progress notes, and treatment evaluations, in adherence to state and NCQA regulations.

• Participate in teamwork and staff meetings, contributing your insights on treatment plan effectiveness and client adjustments.

• Maintain a balanced caseload to ensure that you are able to deliver quality care effectively across multiple clients.

• Actively seek out and provide clients with additional resources, such as community support groups or specialized services, to enhance their treatment experience.

Your primary focus will be on senior clients who often face unique mental health challenges, such as grief, depression, anxiety, or issues related to aging. By understanding their specific needs, you will play a crucial role in developing valuable strategies that foster resilience and improved mental health resilience among this population.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in California; associates licenses are not billable through Medicare, so they cannot be accepted.

• Strong proficiency in digital communication tools and electronic health records, along with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.

• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted work environment while managing a diverse range of client cases.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience working with geriatric populations is preferred. Additionally, applicants may find that familiarity with telehealth practices and virtual counseling strategies greatly enhances their effectiveness in this role.
