Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories, informing individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique paths to recovery.

• Employ evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adjusting techniques based on each client’s specific needs.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions that help clients process trauma and cultivate coping skills.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coherent and integrated care delivery for every patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their support networks on trauma responses and effective coping strategies, fostering an understanding of available resources.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and other applicable legal standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies is essential.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n
