Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and develop individualized treatment strategies.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on recovery from trauma while enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to process their experiences and learn effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for all clients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, assisting clients in navigating immediate challenges.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources for further support.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and client interactions in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development that emphasize trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and developments in trauma therapy to enhance the services provided to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals suffering from various trauma-related disorders. Clients may include survivors of domestic violence, physical and sexual abuse, veterans dealing with PTSD, and those experiencing complex trauma from prolonged adverse experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient interactions.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is advantageous.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
