Work Environment\n

This remote position allows for flexibility while maintaining the spirit of teamwork and collaboration. Our outpatient office operates primarily from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some schedule flexibility to accommodate patient needs. The successful applicant will utilize various tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and maintain compliance with legal standards, ensuring a seamless care experience.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history, developing individualized treatment strategies tailored to their unique needs.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that emphasize effective resilience-building and trauma recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver impactful individual and group therapy sessions.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calmness and effectiveness under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to support ongoing recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to ethical and legal standards in psychotherapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is predominantly focused on providing care to individuals dealing with complex emotional challenges stemming from traumatic experiences. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid and current license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care practices.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and understanding demeanor towards patients.

• Ability to maintain composure in challenging and high-stress situations while providing therapeutic support.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
