Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the patient's trauma history and develop appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to foster recovery from trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a space for patients to process their trauma, share experiences, and build coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, integrating diverse treatment modalities as necessary.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to patients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their immediate needs are addressed.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and coping mechanisms to encourage understanding and empowerment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals affected by trauma, including those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a strong background in trauma-related therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
