Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building, regularly reviewing and updating as needed.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support clients in their recovery process.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating open discussions that encourage processing of trauma and the development of effective coping mechanisms.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other health care providers to deliver coordinated care that addresses the holistic needs of our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calm and professional response under pressure.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and strategies for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards and respond to any patient inquiries in a timely manner.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and trainings focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest advances in trauma therapy and incorporate relevant findings into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on patients who are survivors of trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with individuals navigating the challenges of recovery, emphasizing a supportive and judgment-free environment where each client feels safe to share their experiences and work towards healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interaction.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-affected populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
