Work Environment\n

This role offers a hybrid work setting, allowing you to engage with clients remotely while also occasionally meeting them in our outpatient office. Our facility is designed with patient comfort in mind and is equipped with the necessary tools and technologies that facilitate effective remote therapy sessions. You will work primarily during business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms—focusing on their severity, frequency, and duration—and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at their specific needs and objectives.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective interventions tailored to each client's unique situation.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to their treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their healing journey.
\n
• Collaborate regularly with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and comprehensive approach to client care.
\n
• Participate in professional development activities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay current on best practices in mood disorder treatment.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment outcomes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Promote awareness and advocacy for mental health by addressing stigma surrounding mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals aged 18 and older who are experiencing mood disorders. Many clients may also present with co-occurring issues such as anxiety, trauma, or life transitions. Your empathetic approach and clinical expertise will be vital in creating a safe space for these individuals to express their thoughts and feelings.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong foundation and skill in delivering evidence-based treatments, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• Understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists for holistic patient care.

• Exceptional communication skills, able to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
