Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate clients' trauma histories, identify presenting issues, and formulate comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Tailor and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery and enhancing resilience, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that assist clients in processing traumatic experiences, developing effective coping mechanisms, and fostering healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
\n
• Respond to crisis interventions during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate support and ongoing assistance as needed.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma-related responses and available coping strategies, enhancing their understanding and facilitating active engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Maintain precise and confidential client records in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in professional forums, case consultations, and continuing education activities focused on the latest advancements in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be individuals who have experienced trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and other related disorders. Our client population is diverse, encompassing various ages, backgrounds, and life experiences, and our commitment to culturally competent care will require you to adopt an empathetic and individualized approach to treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within Texas.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience providing mental health services, particularly in trauma-focused settings.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.

• Comfort and competence in managing high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
\n
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications supporting clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
