Work Environment\n

This position primarily operates remotely, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with patients effectively. You will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while being an integral part of a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to trauma-informed care. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients' trauma histories and determine the most suitable treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that emphasize the patient's unique path toward trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address trauma symptoms.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, offering support and strategies to help patients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, effectively managing and responding to acute patient needs.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, fostering greater understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards, while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions to enhance your knowledge of trauma-informed care and best practices.

You will work primarily with adults and adolescents who have experienced varying degrees of trauma. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while providing supportive care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in behavioral health or mental health counseling, preferably in trauma-focused therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
