This full-time position allows you to work in a remote telehealth environment, providing essential mental health services to individuals impacted by trauma. Work Environment\n

This role is performed remotely, allowing flexible work arrangements to cater to both patient needs and your personal schedule. Our telehealth facility supports a structured yet adaptable workflow, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and clients alike. Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you'll be contributing to a culture of safety and support, with some level of flexibility to meet the demands of your patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough trauma-informed assessments that accurately capture each patient's trauma history and tailor treatment plans accordingly.

• Craft individualized treatment strategies designed to facilitate trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Utilize established therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver impactful interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage clients to process their traumatic experiences, fostering coping strategies and promoting emotional healing.

• Coordinate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for all patients.

• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate support to assist clients in distress.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and appropriate resources within the community.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of the therapeutic process.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Recovery Mind Counseling Center, you will be predominantly working with diverse clients who have experienced varying degrees of trauma. Our patient population includes those coping with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and associated dissociative disorders. You will play a pivotal role in their recovery process, helping them discover and build upon their strengths.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LCSW, LPC, Psychologist, or LMFT within the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems that support efficient and secure patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating proficiency in trauma-focused therapies.

• Experience in crisis intervention and support, capable of remaining calm in high-stress situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
