Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather detailed patient histories related to trauma, which will inform treatment planning.

• Design, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting resilience and facilitating trauma recovery.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to patient needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for patients to explore their feelings, challenges, and coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care, ensuring comprehensive support for our patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and addressing their needs effectively.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available to support their recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring the integrity of patient information.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development opportunities to stay at the forefront of trauma care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population consists primarily of individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with trauma survivors, helping them to navigate their recovery journey through tailored therapeutic interventions that emphasize healing and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective, trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• A collaborative mindset, capable of integrating into a multidisciplinary team and participating in a collective approach to patient treatment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field.

• Experience providing trauma-focused therapies and utilizing electronic health records (EHR) for documentation.

• Demonstrated ability to remain composed in high-stress situations while delivering effective therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
