The position is remote, allowing for flexibility while still maintaining a structured work schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments, employing diagnostic interviews and standardized measures to document patients' trauma histories and inform individualized treatment plans.

• Design and implement personalized therapy strategies centered on trauma recovery, employing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for open dialogue where patients can process their experiences and develop essential coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care, sharing insights and recommendations to facilitate an integrated treatment plan.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel secure and validated.

• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses and introduce coping mechanisms to promote healing.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical requirements, ensuring compliance with all guidelines.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in the realm of trauma therapy, applying newfound knowledge in clinical settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work predominantly with trauma survivors, including those grappling with PTSD, dissociative disorders, and complex trauma. Our patient population is diverse, presenting unique challenges and personal histories. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California, demonstrating your qualifications as a mental health professional.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care practices, trauma-related disorders, and interventions is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
