Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ history and emotional status, identifying the most effective treatment paths.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering healing and resilience, incorporating the client’s unique needs and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate client recovery.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions focused on helping clients process and understand their trauma, develop coping skills, and foster overall emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to client care, ensuring all mental health needs are addressed seamlessly.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating professionalism and poise under pressure.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and local resources that can help support their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will predominantly include individuals grappling with the effects of various types of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, childhood trauma, and major life stressors. Your client-centered approach will empower individuals to express their feelings and explore their trauma in a safe environment, leading to improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Thorough knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a strong competency in trauma-informed care and treatment approaches.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting empathy and a non-judgmental attitude when working with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
